Executive communication coaching
For leaders who need to sound as smart as they are.
Clearer words. More nerve. Less performance.
Direct, fast, and with humour. If you are looking for cotton wool, this is the wrong address. If you are looking for clarity — welcome.
How I work
Katja has spent twenty-plus years watching smart people communicate below their intelligence. Her job is to close that gap — which sometimes means saying what colleagues have been too polite to say for years.
Kindly, but clearly.
For whom — and honestly, not for whom
Half of good coaching is the right match.
If this sounds like “finally,” call. If it sounds like “yikes,” that is fine too. Better that both of you know now.
This works for you if
- 01
You want to be challenged, not confirmed.
- 02
You can hear direct feedback without needing three days to recover.
- 03
You’re willing to practise between sessions — insight without repetition is just entertainment.
- 04
You want a sparring partner, not a cheerleader.
This is not for you if
- 01
You’re looking for weekly hand-holding or validation for decisions already made.
- 02
You want therapy. If that is what you need, Katja will refer you to someone properly qualified.
- 03
You need every message wrapped in three layers of reassurance.
What a coaching trajectory looks like
No mystery. No “it depends.” Well, a little.
Here is the working skeleton: clear structure, agreed cadence, and enough pressure-testing to make the progress usable beyond the session.
Intake intensive
One to one-and-a-half days live in Brussels, The Hague, or wherever your stage is. A full communication inventory, first quick fixes, and a written plan. You leave knowing exactly what you are building.
Working sessions
One to three hours, mostly virtual, over roughly four to six months. Each session has a concrete theme and assignments before, during, and after. Momentum is a structure, not a mood.
Manifestation day
One more intensive day near the end of the work, designed to lock in what works under pressure rather than only in rehearsal.
The three-month look-back
Booked from the start, not deferred to “when we get there.” We reflect, sharpen, and refresh what has changed in the real world.
SUPPORT
Between sessions: the real world
Communication emergencies do not check your calendar.
When a panel, pitch, or difficult conversation lands at short notice, you do a quick prep round — phone or video, pragmatic, no ceremony. Katja is reachable on working days and replies within 24 hours.
Acute prep rounds are built into every trajectory. Not an extra. Not a favour.
Buying coaching for someone else?
L&D managers · HR directors · CEOs
You are buying an outcome, not a subscription.
The trajectory has a beginning, a middle, and — radical concept — an end. You can budget it, schedule it, and see where you are at any point. No open-ended “we’ll see how it develops.”
At the start, sponsor, coachee, and Katja agree goals together. Progress against those goals is visible to you; what is said inside sessions stays inside sessions. That confidentiality is the reason an executive will open up, which is the reason it works.

One thing about tempo
“I’m fast. Sometimes too fast.”
Say so when it happens — out loud, in the moment. Consider it your first assertiveness exercise, free of charge.
Talk about the right fitClient perspective
What clients say when the work is useful.
No made-up social proof. These are public client words about training that was tailored, practical, and built around the person in the room.
Her training is just different compared to other trainings that I've had before: - Highly tailored and personalized! - Using gripping tools and methodologies! - Making sure you get what you need!
Communication is people's business. And Katja is an extremely well connected person that I really (!) enjoy working with for years now.

Bring the conversation into focus
Let’s get the conversation on the table.
Tell Katja what needs to change: the pivotal room, the difficult message, or the leadership moment you are preparing for. A short, practical exchange is enough to see whether the work is the right fit.
